Alone Season 10 Episode Guide: Every Episode, Recapped

2026-07-02

Spoiler note: this covers who won season 10, episode by episode, through the finale.

Season 10 ("Alone: Saskatchewan") dropped ten contestants on the shores of Reindeer Lake in northern Saskatchewan, one of the most remote spots the show has used. Nine of the ten eventually tapped out, mostly from starvation, cold, or illness, leaving a fishing-first winner to grind out the longest run of the season.

Episodes 1-6: camp gets built, then it gets tested

"Game On" opens with all ten contestants making camp along the lake, testing bows and fishing gear, with no tap-outs in the premiere. "Ties That Bind" follows Wyatt Black landing a big pike on a homemade gill net while Taz Ramos Dos Santos builds a working spruce-sapling canoe. "Growing Pains" brings the season's first exits: Lee DeWilde taps out on day 18 after his net comes up empty for days, and Ann Rosenquist follows on day 19 with dizziness and heart palpitations, both classified as starvation-related medical pulls. "Lake of Thieves" sees pine martens repeatedly raiding food caches while Luke Olsen (day 20, a suspected giardia-like illness) and Jodi Rose (day 22, missing her family) both tap out. "Spirit Bear" is a low point for the remaining six: Cade Cole faints for nearly an hour from dehydration and exhaustion and becomes the fifth contestant out, on day 23. "King's Gambit" is the calm after that stretch: the five survivors weather a storm with winds up to 41 mph without a single tap-out, while Wyatt lands a 15-20 pound pike.

Episodes 7-11: the wound, the freeze, and the win

"Aftermath" reveals that James "Wyatt" Black has been hiding a self-inflicted stick wound to his forearm for about a week, but he keeps fishing and hunting rather than tap out. "Infestation" brings snow and the season's sixth exit: Taz Ramos Dos Santos taps out on day 40 after severe weight loss and repeated gillnet failures. "Splintered" pairs a personal high (Alan Tenta landing a six-pound cisco on his birthday) with a low: Melanie Sawyer taps out on day 43, overwhelmed by isolation. "Rats" finds the final three grinding through cold and hunger, with Mikey Helton down roughly 67 pounds and leaning on trapped rodents and reindeer moss, while Wyatt survives a chimney fire during a 50 mph windstorm. The finale, "By Any Means," closes the season out: Mikey Helton taps out on day 55 after a medical check flags cold injury to his toes, Wyatt Black taps out on day 64 saying he'd reached emotional closure, and Alan Tenta is declared the winner on day 66, the last contestant standing and the longest run of the season.
