Episode-by-episode
1. "Icebreaker." Ten survivalists are dropped at Great Slave Lake and immediately face a punishing storm; Tim Backus breaks his ankle in a fall and is medically evacuated on day 4, the season's first exit.
2. "Tainted." Hunger pushes contestants toward riskier food choices, and Donny Dust becomes severely dehydrated and ill after eating tainted muskrat meat, evacuated on day 8.
3. "Up in Flames." Struggles turn into real progress as shelters, fires, and food routines mature, though the physical and mental wear of isolation is increasingly visible. No one leaves this episode.
4. "The Moose." Survivalists shift hard toward big game as winter approaches; one contestant spends an extended stretch stalking a moose while another deals with a puncture wound, and Ray Livingston voluntarily taps on day 19, the season's first non-medical exit.
5. "The Kill." The season's long moose hunt pays off: a contestant brings down the animal for an estimated 500 pounds of meat, then has to butcher, smoke, and defend the cache from hungry predators.
6. "Ablaze." A predator threatens one camp's stored food and a shelter mishap nearly undoes weeks of work, while Brady Nicholls taps out on day 32 despite having food in reserve, citing homesickness.
7. "Night Raider." Food-stealing predators become a nightly threat, and one contestant has a wolverine approach within about ten yards of his shelter. No one leaves this episode.
8. "Out Cold." The calorie deficit shows in earnest, and Michelle Wohlberg is medically evacuated on day 48 for severe constipation with a possible impacted bowel.
9. "The Ice Cometh." Falling temperatures make basic tasks harder, and Nikki van Schyndel is medically evacuated on day 52 after severe weight loss left her with a critically low BMI.
10. "Thin Ice." Great Slave Lake finally freezes over, cutting off fishing, and Barry Karcher is medically evacuated on day 69 after the medical team warns his heart is at risk from weight loss.
11. "Fire and Ice." In the finale, Nathan Donnelly's shelter burns down overnight and he's evacuated on day 72 after roughly ten hours exposed, finishing third; Woniya Thibeault taps out on day 73, just ahead of a scheduled medical check, to finish runner-up; and Jordan Jonas is revealed as the winner after 77 days.
Reading the data
The source file is upfront that Wikipedia never states which episode number each tap-out actually aired in, so the placements above (and the day-range boundaries between them) are a reasoned reconstruction built from official synopses matched against known exit days, not a directly cited fact. The contestant with the puncture wound in episode 4 also couldn't be identified from available sources, so this guide leaves that detail unnamed rather than guessing.
