Episode-by-episode
1. "Redemption." Ten returning contestants meet completely unfamiliar terrain in the Khonin Nuga valley, and old wounds from their first runs drive new strategies.
2. "The Haunting." The veterans discover experience doesn't transfer cleanly; Mongolia's forest-steppe brings different food, predators, and rules, and early psychological ghosts resurface fast.
3. "The Serpent." Venomous snakes and aggressive wildlife raise the stakes around camp, and the cast balances food work against hazards their previous seasons never taught them.
4. "Mongolia's Wrath." Continental weather hits with a violence the coastal veterans haven't seen, heat, storms, and hard temperature swings that damage shelters and nerves alike.
5. "The Bowels Of Hell." Physical breakdown starts compounding as digestive trouble, injuries, and caloric deficits grind the field down.
6. "Of Mice And Men." Small game and smaller margins define the food economy as contestants trap rodents and birds; the valley gives out calories in coins, not windfalls.
7. "Desperate Measures." With reserves gone, the remaining survivalists take risks they'd have refused in week one: longer ranges, bigger projects, thinner safety margins.
8. "Slayer II." Deep-run isolation works on the finalists' minds; the title nods to a contestant's bow, but the content is the loneliness that experience can't inoculate against.
9. "Starvation's Shadow." The last contestants are visibly hollowed out, rationing energy for the few tasks that still matter, with medical checks becoming the biggest threat left standing.
10. "Cold War." Britt Ahart taps at 56 days, and Sam Larson, the Season 1 runner-up who lost by a single day, completes his redemption arc by winning at 60 days.
Reading the data
The source file's own confidence note is worth flagging here: three medical evacuations happened somewhere in this season (Jesse Bosdell on day 24, Nicole Apelian on day 9, and Carleigh Fairchild on day 5), but Wikipedia's season article doesn't tie any of them to a specific episode number, so this guide doesn't guess at placement. Only the finale's tap-out (Britt Ahart, day 56) is confirmed episode-by-episode. Carleigh Fairchild's day-5 exit here, after an 86-day run in Season 3, is one of the starkest same-person swings in the show's history.
