Episode-by-episode

1. "Drop Shock." Ten survivalists race to secure shelter, fire, and food along Labrador's Big River, with at least one contestant spending days just searching for a workable camp. No one leaves yet.

2. "Consequences." Jacques Turcotte becomes the season's first departure on day 15, overwhelmed by the emotional toll of killing an animal for food and missing his girlfriend and dog.

3. "The Law of the Land." With nine left, the group turns temporary camps into weatherproof shelters and several land their first kills of the season. No one leaves this episode.

4. "The Beaver." Several contestants land their first big-game kills using improvised traps, but Igor Limansky taps out on day 20 after back pain, an irregular heartbeat, and a 25-pound weight loss.

5. "The Land Giveth…" Food comes easier with beaver and rabbit harvests, but Benji Hill contracts giardia from contaminated meat and leaves the competition on day 27.

6. "The Weasel." With seven left, the group settles into a steadier rhythm of hunting and shelter upgrades. No one leaves this episode.

7. "The Birds." Terry Burns is medically evacuated on day 42 after lightheadedness, nausea, and stomach pain following a 49-pound weight loss.

8. "Gut Feeling." Tom Garstang voluntarily leaves on day 43 due to accumulated back and knee injuries combined with insufficient food, and Jessie Krebs is medically evacuated on day 46 for severe stomach inflammation, narrowing the field to four.

9. "The Ice Up." Rivers freeze over, ending fishing, and Adam Riley voluntarily leaves on day 52 after losing 51 pounds and concluding he couldn't sustain himself on small game without risking permanent damage.

10. "Winter's Grasp." The three finalists grind through the harshest stretch of the Labrador winter yet. For the first time in several episodes, nobody leaves the game.

11. "Fight, Flight or Freeze." Teimojin Tan taps out on day 63 after a 54-pound weight loss, and Karie Lee Knoke taps out on day 75 once weakness makes hunting impossible. Juan Pablo Quiñonez survives a toxic stove malfunction on day 64 and is revealed as the winner on day 78, becoming the show's first Latino champion.

Reading the data

The source file's confidence note says episode titles, air dates, and per-episode day ranges and tap-outs are cross-verified across Wikipedia and ShowbizJunkies recaps for all 11 episodes, and medical-versus-voluntary classification follows Wikipedia's own status labels where recap wording was ambiguous. That's a stronger sourcing footing than some of the show's other mid-run seasons, so the recap above tracks the file closely rather than hedging further.

For the full cast and how Juan Pablo's win fits the franchise, see the Season 9 hub, Karie Lee Knoke's profile, and the best Alone episodes ever aired, which covers this finale's stove-malfunction finish in more detail.
