Žiga Ogorelec won Alone Season 13 after 90 days, earning the $500,000 prize and the first Alone World Champion title. Aaron Barnard was runner-up at 87 days, and Nero Buys finished third at 85 days. The finale, “Worlds Apart,” aired September 9, 2026. Delo reported the win; the finale recap confirms the final three’s day counts.

Season 13 is complete: 13 numbered competition episodes, broadcast from June 17 to September 9, 2026. Ten contestants from seven countries competed in the Richardson Mountains and Beaufort Delta of Canada’s Northwest Territories, near Aklavik. Episode 1: Worlds Collide: Part 1

Aired 2026-06-17. Ten contestants from seven countries begin the World Championship in the Canadian Arctic. David Young leaves on Day 3 because he misses his family.

Episode 2: Worlds Collide: Part 2

Aired 2026-06-24. The opening drop continues. Dave Booth loses his dependable means of starting a fire and leaves on Day 4, taking the field down to eight.

Episode 3: Building Momentum

Aired 2026-07-01. The remaining eight work on food and shelter as the first stretch of the competition settles into routine. Nobody leaves in this episode.

Episode 4: Cold Omen

Aired 2026-07-08. Cold weather adds urgency to camp building. Poldi Waldmann-Moloney ends his run on Day 14 with exhaustion and emotional distress.

Episode 5: Thin Margins

Aired 2026-07-15. Žiga Ogorelec recovers a moose on Day 18, a turning point in his food supply. All seven remaining contestants continue into the next episode.

Episode 6: Balancing Act

Aired 2026-07-22. Keeping camp supplied becomes a test of health as well as skill. A medical check leads to Clementino Pedrosa’s evacuation on Day 21 after a dangerously low heart rate is detected.

Episode 7: Natural Order

Aired 2026-07-29. The field falls to five when Will Longley leaves on Day 30 with a serious digestive problem. The remaining contestants continue their work on food and shelter.

Episode 8: Tides of Fortune

Aired 2026-08-05. Changing weather makes maintaining camp and food supplies harder. The five remaining contestants all continue; there is no departure in this episode.

Episode 9: Icebound

Aired 2026-08-12. Freezing water changes access to food as winter strengthens its hold. The competition remains at five contestants.

Episode 10: No Safe Haven

Aired 2026-08-19. Shelter becomes a health problem for Jacks Genega. Severe smoke-related eye irritation ends her run on Day 62, leaving four contestants.

Episode 11: Fire and Famine

Aired 2026-08-26. Žiga faces a shelter fire while the field’s food shortages deepen. Andrew Price leaves on Day 71 after the effects of starvation become too much, leaving the final three.

Episode 12: Subzero

Aired 2026-09-02. Žiga Ogorelec, Aaron Barnard and Nero Buys reach the final stretch. Medical checks and the strain of isolation frame the episode; all three remain for the finale.

Episode 13: Worlds Apart

Aired 2026-09-09. Nero Buys leaves on Day 85 and Aaron Barnard on Day 87. Žiga Ogorelec receives the winning news on Day 90 and becomes the first Alone World Champion, taking the $500,000 prize.

What changed the season?

The Episode 5 moose harvest gave Žiga a substantial food reserve. The later episodes show why getting food is only one part of a long stay: health, shelter, food storage and the willingness to remain all affect the result. Nero and Aaron both stayed beyond 80 days before leaving; Žiga’s winning total was 90.
